This cardigan was designed by Deborah Newton using Grand Opera by Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, Inc. The body is worked in one piece to the sleeve openings. The sophisticated diamond lace pattern makes an elegant transition to the ribbed bodice. This transition is echoed in the three-quarter-length bell sleeves. The sweater is enhanced with the delicate detail of the seed-stitch button bands. A sure winner for this holiday season. Featured in Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008.
